William R. Rasmussen's Obituary
Jetmore – William R. Rasmussen, 85, died at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore, Kansas.
He was born November 28, 1925 at Jetmore, the son of Louis and Sarah Fern Benge Rasmussen. He was a Farmer and Business owner of R&R Auto Parts Supplies both in Jetmore.
He was a member of the Church of Christ, Dodge City; he was a Boy Scout Leader, helped with Cancer drives, and very family orientated.
On December 25, 1946 he married Mae L. Nilhas, at Dodge City, she died July 18, 2010.
Survivors include: three sons, Bob Rasmussen, Curtis Rasmussen and Kent Rasmussen all of Jetmore. One daughter, Janice Berlin, Tucson, AZ. one brother, Keith Rasmussen, Ouray, CO. one sister, Joann Six, Denver, CO. six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeremy Rasmussen one granddaughter, Kirsten Berlin, and one sister, Dorlene Eichman.
A Memorial service will be 9:30 A.M. Saturday June 18 at the Church of Christ Church Dodge City, with Pastor Gary Bennett presiding the body was cremated, friends may sign the Book on Friday from 9:00 A. M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore, Kansas. Inurnment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, with Military Graveside Rites.
