Dodge City – Willie Hodde Jr., 74, died February 7, 2006 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.
He was born August 18, 1931, at Brenham, Texas, the son of Willie Hodde Sr., and Rosa Finke Hodde. He was a Water Well Driller for over 40 years in the Dodge City area.
He belonged of the Lutheran Faith and the Moose Lodge, of Dodge City; Kansas Water Well Association, and Texas Water Well Association.
On March 15, 1962, He married Doris Jean Harper, at New Mexico, She survives.
Other survivors include: one son, Jim and wife Cecilia Hodde, Dodge City; one daughter, Connie and husband John Blurton, Jetmore; Two brothers, A.A. Hodde, Brenham, Texas; C.E. Hodde, Brian, Texas; one sister, Linda Mae Faithhauer, Brenham, Texas; and Four Grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday and Wilroads Gardens Christian Church with the Rev. Jeff Hiers presiding. Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be sent to the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore, in care of the Beckwith Funeral Home, Box 663 Jetmore, Kansas. 67854. Personal condolences may be sent to the family and this notice viewed at www.beckwithfuneralhome.com
