Jetmore – Zella E. Abbott, 93, died January 20, 2009 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.
She was born March 27, 1915, at Ainsworth, Nebraska. The daughter of Harvey and Bessie Francher Smith. She was a Homemaker.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, United Presbyterian Woman both of Jetmore.
On September 27, 1934 she married Lester Abbott at Dodge City. He died April 27, 1960.
Survivors include: Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
She was preceded in death by one son Larry, one daughter, Janice, six sisters, Edith, Laura, Flossie, Daisy, Lorena, Alta, four brothers, Harold, Lance, LeRoy, Carl.
Funeral will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with the Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Friends may call 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
Memorials may be sent to Hodgeman County EMS or Jetmore Fire Department, in care of the funeral home.
