Larned - Roland O. Dent, 77, died, February 5, 2007 at his home, Larned.

He was born October 15, 1929 in Harper, the son of Floyd Earl and Ruth Irene Evans Dent. A resident of Rozel and Larned since 1970 moving from Harper, he was a custodian for the School District.

On Aug. 9, 1958 he married Junia Faye Arb. She died March 11, 2000.

Survivors include; two sons, Dr. Stephen Dent, Larned and Danny Cormack, Great Bend, a daughter, Pamela Theis, Larned, a sister Norma Dent, Harper, Seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother Mervin Dent.

Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Jack Singer presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m Sunday a t the Beckwith Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
